Privacy Policy
We believe in absolute transparency: we collect minimal data, protect your privacy, and never sell personal information.
Information We Collect
We adhere strictly to data minimization principles. We only collect information necessary to operate your profile and account: your chosen username, display name, optional biography, user-configured social links, profile views counter, and an encrypted hash of your authentication credentials.
Third-Party Presence & Integrations
When you link public accounts (such as Discord User IDs or Spotify profiles), we only fetch public presence state and playback metadata to render on your profile. We never request or store sensitive passwords, private messages, or payment account credentials from connected services.
Cookies & Session Storage
We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies solely to maintain your authenticated login state and remember client preferences (such as dashboard theme selection). We do not employ third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or behavioral profiling scripts.
Data Security & Encryption
All communications with sorry.love are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols. Passwords are cryptographically salted and hashed using modern one-way hash algorithms (Argon2/bcrypt) and never stored in plaintext.
Data Retention & Right to Erasure
You retain complete ownership over your data. You may modify, update, or remove profile content, avatar assets, and custom links at any time through your dashboard. If you choose to delete your account, your data is permanently expunged from active databases.
Contact & Privacy Inquiries
